A Bait finesse plugging rod born to handle small shad-type crank baits that would usually be handled by spinning tackle. Due to the evolution of bait reels, it has become possible to cast small plugs accurately and easily around cover by using rods that can now handle these duties. Needless to say, the technique called “cover cranking” has been greatly expanded, but the evolution of the rod is truly indispensable. This rod utilizes a regular to slow taper design that makes it easy to put lighter lure weights on the fast, yet Low Modulus blank developed for Steez. In addition, the rod blank torsion that occurs during casting is tightened with X45 technology from the beginning to the end to prevent power loss due to said torsion, and the RR-spec (Reduced Resistance) guide system is installed to minimize that torsion. Thus, improving casting distance and accuracy allows you to cast at a rapid tempo, into small gaps under overhangs allowing a delicate approach to the cover, and catching fish that have not been caught until now.
