The TD-Ito series was a 2003 limited release. It is the first collaboration between Yuki Ito of Megabass and Daiwa. The reels were offered in three models and were produced based upon special order. The weight was dropped by .3oz in both models over the standard TD-Z. The spools have Type R tuning further tuned to produce initial spool speeds of 30,000 RPM. They feature a striking appearance and cork knobs. The spool and cork knobs feature four Japanese characters that read “Buddha Heart” and “Hand of the Devil”. The TD-Ito 105HL is the only reel to feature a R tuned 105 sized spool.
