The Team Daiwa X-C was introduced in 2000 as a less expensive and less refined version of the newly introduced Team Daiwa Z-C. The reel came in four models all sporting ABS spools and Air Bails. The reel lacks the Twist Buster 2, but includes the titanium coated line roller. The handle sports a coated compression cork knob (two in the CW) and one ball bearing. The CW model is a double paddle handle with two knobs. The reel came with a neoprene reel case.
