The TD Zillion was released in 2007 as one of Daiwa’s flagship reels in the USA. It featured a aluminum frame and sideplate, swept handle with 2 handle ball bearings, and a clicking drag. The knobs on the USDM model can not be removed from the handle, but they can be removed on the JDM version of the Zillion. The Zillion shares the same shape as the legendary TD-Z, but houses a larger 36mm OD spool. The Zillion comes in 3 retrieves, the 4.9:1 retrieve (the Crazy Cranker), 6.3:1 retrieve and the high speed 7.3:1 retrieve.
