The Daiwa Emeraldas Air was produced in 2015. It comes with some significant upgrades over the previous Emeraldas (MX). It comes with a Zaion frame, air rotor, air bail, mag sealed bearings and body. It is also 0.2 oz lighter than the MX and comes with 3-4 more bearings in the reel depending on the model. The Emeraldas Air comes in a 45mm handle configuration as well as a double handle (DH) 90mm handle configuration.
