Produced from 2005-201o the Certate Hyper Custom was a robust modification to the base Certate. The main material stayed the same but the drag was beefed up on all models and the main gears were upgraded to the C6191 Machine Cut Digigear for ultimate durability. The 3500 and 4000 feature a large Power Grip knob while the rest feature the T-Shape knob. All bearings are CRBB. Due to the harder main gear material the retrieve is louder than a standard Certate.
