The 2013/14 Megabass X7 series was, in our opinion, a high watermark for Megabass blanks. Simply some of the best when it came to combining both sensitivity and durability. The down side to this original X7 series was the need to keep the builds as light as possible which resulted in light use of adhesives during assembly. This allowed some fittings/winding checks within the handle and fore nut assemblies to work themselves loose from time-to-time and would require minor repairs. Regardless…They are still highly sought-after to this day…and for very good reason.
