In 1994 Shimano introduced what would be their defining low profile reel, the Curado B. The Curado Bantams are Shimanos most versatile line of reels as well as their most popular in the US. The reel features a solid aluminum frame and their VBS brake system. The reel also features the Super Stopper anti reverse bearing and an aluminum spool.
