F4-62X Flatbacker

The FLATBACKER was created to satisfy pro guides at Lake Biwa, and is intended to be paired with the ONETEN series. With its short handle and mid length shaft, the FLATBACKER is a jerk bait rod built for competition. With adjustments made to the taper of the original FLATBACKER, drastically decreased weight and increased shaft strength are realized, giving it high jerking performance. The grip helps alleviate wrist fatigue from daily use, and uses a Dredge Finger Handle designed to combat fatigue of the fingers after long days on the water. The high-impact COREPLEX blanks destroy the conventional distance limitations of small rods, demonstrating dramatic casting distance.
