Released in 2006, the Shimano Sephia was a lightweight spinning reel. The Sephia featured a SR-3D gear, A-RB bearings (making the reel fine for saltwater use), SR-one piece bail, a cold forged aluminum spool and a machine cut handle. It came in only a single retrive with a double handle (DH) option.
